Canon has announced the first fisheye zoom lens: Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L USM.
This new model is to take the place of the old EF 15mm f/2.8. The lens have a coating Sub Wavelength Structure element front and rear are waterproof thanks to a coating with fluoride.
Fullframe on this can produce both normal picture with a fisheye or circular image fisheye as we have seen with other so driven. On APS-H and APS-C zoom can be locked to avoid generating pictures with vignetting because on full frame sensors can not get a full circle.
